The Process

How It Works

Paw City Walks is a city-by-city research guide. Here's how to get the most out of it.

Step 1 — Find your city

Use the search bar, browse by state, or pick from the city list. Every page covers local pricing ranges, the best dog-walking parks and routes, neighborhood patterns, and which booking platforms are active in that market.

Step 2 — Read the local guide

Each city page is researched and written specifically for that location — not generated from a template. You'll find real information about what dog walking costs locally, which neighborhoods have the highest walker density, seasonal considerations, and what to look for when vetting a walker in that city.

Step 3 — Choose a booking platform

At the bottom of every page you'll find direct links to booking platforms active in that area. We present multiple options so you can compare — Rover, Wag!, Care.com, and others depending on local availability. We earn a commission if you book through our links. It doesn't affect which platforms we show or how we describe them.

Step 4 — Book with confidence

You book directly through the platform of your choice. All vetting, insurance, payments, and service management happen there — not through us. Our job ends at the referral. Theirs begins at the booking.
